Just the other day I was tasked and asked “Rewind back and rate the Sam Bradford- Nick Foles trade. Would you advise it again from both teams’ perspective?” Obviously, this wasn’t the first time I had thought about this trade, and it likely will not be the last. But what makes this question so interesting is the timing of it. Clearly, I had been asked this question due to the fact that Bradford is once again benched due to injuries, and Foles is benched due to poor performance.
“…rate the trade?” I will give you the same answer I gave the question originally: I didn’t like the trade when it was made, and I am steadfast in my position.
