It was such an exciting day when the Philadelphia Eagles signed wide receiver Alshon Jeffery during free agency. Finally, quarterback Carson Wentz had a legitimate No. 1 receiver to throw to.
Jeffery, 6’3″ and 218 pounds, has a pair of 1,000-yard seasons under his belt. His best season came in 2013 when he caught 89 balls for 1,421 yards and seven touchdowns. His wide receivers coach that season just so happened to be Mike Groh, who joined the Eagles’ coaching staff this offseason.
Jeffery is pretty amazing at football and it looks like he is primed for a big year in 2017.
