Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery recently underwent successful surgery on a torn rotation cuff that he played through during the entire 2017 season, according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport.
The injury occurred back in training camp on July 30. At the time, there was some (overblown) concern about how Jeffery was missing practice reps. The Eagles were being cautious, though, and it obviously paid off.
Jeffery didn’t miss a single start last season. In fact, he played 929 offensive snaps in the regular season. That was tied for the seven most of any wide receiver.
