If you thought tonight was all about the 2024 NFL Draft for the Philadelphia Eagles, you thought wrong!
The Birds made some major news just minutes before the draft by agreeing to terms on a three-year, $96 million contract extension. This news comes from NFL insider Ian Rapoport after previously being hinted at earlier on Thursday by Howard Eskin.
It’s a historically valuable deal worth $84 million guaranteed that puts Brown, who turns 27 in June, under contract through the 2029 season. Brown previously ranked fifth in annual wide receiver value at $25 million and he was signed through 2026.
