Adoree’ Jackson said watching the Eagles’ rookie cornerbacks thrive last season made him smile

The Eagles added veteran CB Adoree’ Jackson to the secondary, and he spoke to reporters after arriving to Philly to sign his new contract.

He considered signing with the Eagles the last time he hit free agency coming out of Tennessee, but explained that he chose the Giants because of the familiarity with so many players and staff. Jackson named guys like Saquon Barkley and James Bradberry as reasons he signed with New York, but noted he didn’t talk to Bradberry before signing with the Eagles.

Jackson did, however, talk to Barkley, and the RB told him that everyone in that locker room competes at everything they do, and that was all his former teammate needed to hear.
