Certain guys were just born to play for the Philadelphia Eagles. There aren’t too many better examples of that than Jeremiah Trotter. His eight seasons with the team covered three tours of duty, and even though we all may have different memories of “The Axe Man”, none of us will forget what he meant to this organization. It’s only fitting that the Eagles place him into the team’s hall of fame on Monday night.
Whether it was at Veteran’s Stadium or Lincoln Financial Field, each time “Trot” (as he was affectionately known by teammates) swung his imaginary ax in celebration, we swung one ourselves.
