Well, in the end, it worked out exactly as we all thought that it would, sort of. The Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles were the best two teams in the NFC East all season. They battled for divisional superiority for 15 weeks, and in the NFL‘s 16th stanza, a late-season rendezvous between these two age-old foes at Lincoln Financial Field meant everything.
Philly’s win keeps their hopes of a postseason berth alive, for one more week at least, and if they can take care of business versus the New York Giants for the second time in a month, the last part of most of our premonitions would prove to be right.
