As soon as it started, it was over. The well-publicized AAF suspended operations led to talk of league-wide signings. On April 4, an announcement was made through their Twitter account that players were eligible to leave their current contracts to pursue contracts with NFL teams. The Philadelphia Eagles responded by adding two prospects of their own, quarterback Luis Perez and wide receiver Greg Ward.
