Well, it happened. Something needed to happen to take everyone’s focus off of how bad the Philadelphia Eagles‘ wide receivers were playing, and something did. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the ‘something’ everyone hoped for.
Philly’s secondary took all of the negative attention from the Eagles receivers as they turned in their worst performance of the season. That came in a Week 6 tail kicking at the hands of the Minnesota Vikings. The result was a lopsided game whose score doesn’t give a real indication of how bad things went.
‘The Birds’ put up 20 points in that one but gave up 38, thanks in large part to a stinker by their cornerbacks.
