After the Philadelphia Eagles found a way to hang on to a thrilling 37-27 victory over the Washington Redskins in Week 15, the attention quickly shifted to the afternoon slate of games, mainly because of the Dallas Cowboys and the Los Angeles Rams.
Even though the Eagles technically moved into first place for a few hours, the team knew this would quickly change if the Cowboys managed to defeat the Rams since despite both teams having a 7-7 record, Dallas still holds the current head-to-head tiebreaker at the moment.
With Los Angeles heating up over the previous two weeks, Philadelphia was hoping to see Dallas come up short once again in Week 15 to add even more pressure to the Cowboys heading into next weekend’s meeting in the City of Brotherly Love.
