Even though it was arguably closer than it should have been, the Philadelphia Eagles deserve plenty of credit for pulling off the thrilling 17-9 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
All of a sudden, the Eagles can clinch the NFC East during their regular-season finale by defeating the New York Giants or simply receiving some help from the Washington Redskins taking down the Cowboys in what should be a thrilling Week 17 to close out the regular season.
Over the last couple of weeks, there has rightfully been plenty of concern surrounding Philadelphia since the injuries kept piling up on both sides of the football, including the recent loss of Alshon Jeffery to a foot injury.
