With the 25th pick in the 2025 Draft, the Houston Texans select Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State.
The Houston Texans are reshaping their offensive line this offseason, signaling a clear commitment to protecting C.J. Stroud and improving their running game. These changes come after what seemed like a successful season for the team, winning a wild-card game and challenging the eventual AFC Champion Chiefs in the Divisional round. Offensively the Texans’ production was sub-par, ranking 19th in points scored per game, 15th in rushing yards per game, and 21st in passing yards per game. Consequently, DeMeco Ryans has made a change at Offensive Coordinator, bringing in Nick Caley from the Rams to take control of the unit.
