Don’t believe me? The Packers last drafted a wide receiver in the first round back in 2002. Before that, it was 1988. Not quite as bad as the 42-year drought representing the last time the Eagles took a linebacker in the 1st, but the point remains that this franchise has historically shied away from first-round receivers.
