2017 NFL Mock Draft: Mel Kiper has Mike Williams falling to Eagles

In his most recent mock draft, ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. has standout Clemson wide receiver Mike Williams falling all the way to the Philadelphia Eagles at No. 14.

In Kiper’s first mock draft, he projected the Eagles would take Florida cornerback Quincy Wilson. But in version 2.0, he projects the Eagles will try to squash their need for a playmaking receiver.

Kiper says if the Eagles do not add a reliable wideout this offseason, it will negatively impact Carson Wentz‘s development.

Wide receiver has been a position of frustration for the Eagles, and it’s imperative they add at least one more reliable pass-catcher next year, or they risk slowing the development of Carson Wentz.
