The NFL Playoffs are in full swing, but the focus for the Philadelphia Eagles remains squarely on the search for former head coach Chip Kelly's replacement. Here are the latest and most interesting Eagles coaching rumors and news for Wednesday, January 13th.
McAdoo The Front-Runner?
ESPN's Adam Schefter says there might be a front-runner for the Eagles' job.
"I never said that [Chiefs offensive coordinator Doug] Pederson was a front-runner," Schefter said on 97.5 The Fanatic Morning Show. "I don’t know that he’s the front-runner. I do know that square in contention for that job. I know they really like him. In my mind, my sense — and these are just senses — is that [Giants offensive coordinator] Ben McAdoo is the front-runner. But I don’t know that to be right. I think Pederson and McAdoo are square in the conversation."
Schefter isn't alone, as a few others think McAdoo is the favorite.
Get the sense that Eagles could announce their next head coach as early as tomorrow, which would eliminate Pederson. Thinking McAdoo.

The Eagles are reportedly done interviewing, which means they should be close to making a hire.
Recapping Interviews
If the Eagles are done interviewing, then the new coach will be among the group the team has already interviewed. The team only interviewed six candidates; Duce Staley, Pat Shurmur, Adam Gase, Tom Coughlin, Doug Pederson and Ben McAdoo. Gase has already been hired and Staley and Shurmur seem vary unlikely.
It seems like the Eagles new coach will either be Pederson, McAdoo or Coughlin.
