The NFL trade deadline came and passed with very little noise from the Philadelphia Eagles, but that's not for a lack of trying.
Head coach Chip Kelly wanted to improve his receiving core, but was unable to do so.

There were numerous reports that the Buccaneers were shopping Vincent Jackson, so it comes as a surprise that they didn't pull the trigger. That being said, we don't know what Philly was offering, but it obviously wasn't enticing enough pry the former Pro Bowler away from the Bucs.
