The Eagles are getting quite desperate in their search for a new head coach, and rumor has it that the Eagles are working hard to bring Brian Kelly to Philadelphia.
According to numerous reports, Kelly had no interest in leaving Notre Dame after being in the National Championship game in just his third season in South Bend. But it seems that this was a bit of PR gamesmanship by Kelly.
It turns out that there is a mutual interest between Kelly and the Eagles according to a report by ESPN's Adam Schefter. According to his sources, Kelly is playing games with the Eagles and in the media in the hopes of getting a more lucrative offer from the Eagles.

Brian Kelly would be a great pick up for the Eagles as a replacement for Andy Reid. Given how Chip Kelly was utterly embarrassed on national television in his 42-14 loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide, it would be understandable if he does not want to show his face again in South Bend.
The Irish are also losing some of their best players to the NFL draft including Manti Te'O, so if Kelly does not see a bright future for the Irish the chances that he leaves for the NFL could be extremely high.
