Early in the season the Eagles started going downhill with four straight losses, but made an amazing turnaround and began to come back by defeating the Redskins 20-13 in week 6. That win may have been just what they needed to boost their confidence to get them hyped to go after another victory. It looks like it worked out and with a bye week, week 7, they had enough time to get their heads together and jump into week 8 ready to go.
The Eagles played an outstanding game vs. the Dallas Cowboys in week 8, where they pulled a huge win with a final score of 34-7. QB Michael Vick completed 21 of 28 passes for 279 yards, threw 2 touchdown passes and he also ran for 50 yards. RB LeSean McCoy ran 185 yards and scored 2 touchdowns. WR Jeremy Maclin finished with 54 receiving yards and scored the first touchdown of the game. TE Brent Celek finished with 94 receiving yards and scored a touchdown in the second quarter. CB Nnamdi Asomugha had two solo tackles, one assisted tackle and one interception.
