Most of the production of the 2024 Sixers’ summer league squad came from expected players. League veterans Jeff Dowtin Jr. and Ricky Council IV led the way. While first-round pick Jared McCain did not shoot the ball as well as he’d hoped, he still had enough opportunity to put a fair amount of points on the board.
One of the big surprises from this year’s squad was the play of big man Keve Aluma, a 25-year-old who’s spent his professional career playing in the Korean Basketball League and Japanese B League since finishing up college at Virginia Tech in 2022.
