It has been six days since The Ringer published its bombastic story about Sixers team president Bryan Colangelo and his alleged use of multiple burner Twitter accounts that revealed criticisms and inside team information.
In the ensuing days, the Sixers hired a law firm to conduct an investigation into the tweets -- ESPN reported it to be the law firm of Paul/Weiss on Monday -- and reports have indicated that the investigation turned its focus towards Colangelo's wife, Barbara Bottini, as the main culprit of the tweets from multiple accounts.
Some of the information disseminated on the account included injury information, insider trade details and criticisms about various players and former executives, including Joel Embiid, Nerlens Noel, Jahlil Okafor, Markelle Fultz and former general manager Sam Hinkie.
