The last time the Sixers played a game, they lost 112-114, in a series ending playoff matchup against the Boston Celtics. Ironically, the team will begin the regular season on the road at Boston, in a nationally televised game on the TNT Network at 8pm.
The Sixers canceled their Blue x White pubic debut on Tuesday at the Palestra due to safety concerns on the conditions of the court. On Friday the Sixers will host Melbourne United of the NBL, starting at 7pm. The team will continue at home on Monday against the Orlando Magic, and then they will travel to China for the NBA China Games, from October 5-8.
