It has been a wild (near) 24 hours since the moratorium period has begun. The Sixers made headlines with a number of moves:
- Al Horford has agreed to a four-year, $109 million deal with the Sixers, with $97 million guaranteed and the remaining balance tied to incentives.
- The Sixers and the Miami Heat have agreed to a sign and trade in which Jimmy Butler will land in Miami and Josh Richardson will come to Philly. This deal is actually still up in the air as Miami looks to find a salary dump partner.
