LOS ANGELES -- Lonzo Ball released his first rap mixtape on Thursday, titled "Born to Ball", so of course rap music was a topic of discussion for the controversial Lakers rookie both before and after the NBA's Rising Stars game at Staples Center.
On the mixtape, Ball had one song devoted to his mercurial father LaVar, aptly titled "LaVar," as well as another track labeled "BBB" for the families' "Big Baller Brand" company run by his father.
Ball's teammate Kyle Kuzma weighed in on his teammates true rap debut.
"His album? Oh, trash -- no, I'm just playing," Kuzma said.
