CLEVELAND - The 76ers continued their string of bad luck Friday when they announced that Robert Covington and Jahlil Okafor will miss the remainder of the season.
That news came before a 122-105 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers at Quicken Loans Arena.
An MRI on Wednesday revealed that Covington suffered a "slight" tear of the lateral meniscus in his right knee the night before against the Brooklyn Nets. The small forward will get a second opinion to see if he will need to have surgery.
It may have been only a matter of time before Okafor was shut down for the season.
