The NBA Draft day is here, and not surprisingly, general manager Bryan Colangelo and the Philadelphia 76ers are very active on the trade front. While the majority of the trade rumors have the Sixers seeking Boston’s No. 3 selection in order to take Providence prospect Kris Dunn, Jerry Zgoda of the Minnesota Star Tribune reports that Philadelphia has been keeping tabs on Timberwolves point guard Ricky Rubio for months.
Since making the move from Spain to the NBA, Rubio’s career has been a bit of a mixed bag. On one hand, he’s never lived up to the hype he generated as a teenager.
