The Cleveland Cavaliers traveled to Miami tonight to take on the Heat. In what I can only assume was a pretty awful game to watch (Cleveland shot 36.5%), the Heat beat the Cavs 98-79. With the loss, the Cavs’ record falls to 44-30.
What does this mean for the 4th place Sixers? Well the Sixers record is 43-30, which jeopardizes the Cavs’ position of 3rd place in the standings. The Cavs now hold just a 0.5 game lead over the Sixers.
The Cavs, on the 2nd leg of a back-to-back, will take on the Hornets tomorrow night in Charlotte.
