I’m pulling for the Golden State Currys to break the NBA record for wins in a season. But if they do, that doesn’t mean they’re going to go down as the best team in league history. At least not in my mind. Even if they should finish 77-5. Or something close to that. Sorry. I just can’t go there. Just like I couldn’t do it when the Chicago Jordans won 72 times in 1995-96, after Mike decided that maybe a baseball career wasn’t for him after all.
