Now I know that no expert on the planet will ever say that J.J. Redick is the best player on Brett Brown’s Philadelphia 76ers team. However, his importance this year has gone way beyond his original title of “vet leader”.
Redick is the second-leading scorer on the team. Think about that for a second. A 34-year-old is the second-leading scorer on one of the best teams in the league. That is remarkable, to say the least.
Redick deserves his credit for a being a key cog in “the process”. His shooting on the court has done wonders to the 76ers.
