Despite finishing 3-1 in Vegas group play, the Summer Sixers did not advance to the four-team playoff, as four teams finished 4-0 ahead of them (and two additional teams had better quarter victory tiebreaker points). So we’re on to the consolation round, with one final game against the Boston Celtics before these guys go wheels up to either Camden or parts unknown.
The Celtics finished 2-2 in group play, beating the Lakers and Hornets, while losing to Miami and Dallas. Here’s the roster Boston sent to Vegas:
