Philadelphia was unable to advance to 2-0 in Salt Lake City, falling at the buzzer to Memphis last night, 87-85. Jeff Dowtin Jr. made the case for some team to return him to the NBA level, going off for 18 points and six assists with a game-high plus-12. Tonight may be our last time to see him as a Sixer, as he is the only member of the Summer roster not continuing on with the team in Las Vegas. Two-way signing Justin Edwards flashed after a nondescript opener, shooting 3-of-3 from three and adding four stocks. 25-year-old Keve Aluma was the other standout performer, scoring 15 points on 7-of-9 shooting in 17 minutes.
