The Good Vibes Sixers finally reached their breaking point. After Joel Embiid joined teammates Tobias Harris, Matisse Thybulle, and Isaiah Joe on the Health and Safety Protocols list yesterday afternoon (get well soon, fellas), the remaining Philadelphia 76ers played valiantly, but their comeback effort fell short in last night’s 103-96 loss to the New York Knicks. Now, the Sixers not only have to play on the second night of a back-to-back, but they face the defending NBA champion Milwaukee Bucks who had a day’s rest. I mean, there are schedule losses and then there is what I assume will be Charles Bassey trying to guard Giannis Antetokounmpo tonight.
