The Philadelphia 76ers enjoyed a 130-103 victory against the Miami Heat in their first playoff game since 2012. The team looked like a well-oiled machine thanks to a collective effort from the players and head coach Brett Brown.
Brown made several key adjustments throughout the game, the major one being to exploit the Heat by deploying a “small ball” lineup. This lineup included Ben Simmons, J.J. Redick, Robert Covington, Dario Saric and Ersan Ilyasova.
Simmons continuously picked apart the Heat’s defense, finding open shooter after open shooter which led to 18 made 3-pointers on the night.
