The first domino has dropped in Bryan Colangelo’s plan for this year’s trade deadline, as The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the 76ers have traded Ersan Ilyasova to the Atlanta Hawks for Tiago Splitter and two second-round picks.
While reports have yet to indicate what second rounders are to be included, Atlanta currently owns the Brooklyn Nets’ and the Miami Heat’s second rounders for this year and the Washington Wizards’ second-round selection in 2019. The Hawks also owe their second rounder to the San Antonio Spurs this year, but it’s protected from picks 31-55.
