Sixers sign undrafted free agents Isaiah Briscoe, Melo Trimble, James Blackmon Jr.

With barely 12 hours gone since the 76ers finished drafting, the team has moved on to looking at prospects to sign as undrafted free agents.

So far, there have been three signings we know of: Kentucky’s Isaiah Briscoe, Maryland’s Melo Trimble and Indiana’s James Blackmon, Jr. A source confirmed that Briscoe and Trimble received deals to play for the Sixers’ summer-league team. The details of Blackmon’s contract aren’t known yet.

Briscoe, a 6-foot-3 point guard, played two seasons for the Wildcats. The Newark, N.J., native averaged 12.1 points, 4.2 assists and 5.4 rebounds in 2016-17.
