In the latest bit of news that will mean very little come Tuesday, the Sixers have announced the signings of Cory Jefferson and Darin Johnson. To make room on the training camp roster, Philadelphia released Matt Farrell and DJ Hogg, who were officially on the team for just two days. Perhaps foreseeing a similar fate for Jefferson and Johnson, Philadelphia’s social media team didn’t even bother creating a graphic to celebrate the latest arrivals.
As anticipated when they were signed, Farrell and Hogg will be designated as affiliate cuts by the team, with the hopes they sign with the G League and report to Delaware.
