The Sixers are finishing up a kind of important offseason, in case you haven’t heard.
Heading into the summer, Joel Embiid was the Sixers’ only player under guaranteed contract beyond the 2023-24 season. They had the opportunity to create more than $60 million in cap space, and they did just that.
They landed one of the biggest fish in the free-agent pond by signing Paul George to a four-year, $211.6 million contract. They also reunited with Andre Drummond on a two-year, $10 million deal, signed former Miami Heat forward Caleb Martin to a four-year deal worth up to $40 million, re-signed Kelly Oubre Jr.
