Sixers recall Richaun Holmes

The 76ers recalled Richaun Holmes from the Delaware 87ers Thursday morning. He is scheduled to practice at the Sixers training facility at the Camden Waterfront.

The Sixers assigned him to their NBA Development League affiliate on Wednesday and he played that night against the Maine Red Claws.

The reserve center has been out of the Sixers' lineup with a concussion since being elbowed in the back of the head on Dec. 22.

However, he hasn’t played in a Sixers' game since the Dec. 14 loss to the Toronto Raptors due to a crowded center position. Joel Embiid, Noel and Jahlil Okafor are all ahead of him in the depth chart.
