GALLOWAY, N.J. – No one would call 76ers managing owner Josh Harris a quitter if he ordered the franchise to scrap its multi-year rebuilding (tanking) process.
Heading into the third year of the process, the 76ers have turned into the punchline of the NBA.
They’ve endured embarrassing 26- and 17-game losing streaks over the last two seasons. The previous rosters were loaded with a ‘Who’s Who’ of “gypsies."
The Sixers used 25 players last season while compiling an 18-64 record, one year after 23 players in at least one game in a 19-63 campaign.
But Harris remains optimistic about the Sixers strategy to return the franchise into a championship contender.
