As the Sixers hit the quarter turn of their 2024-2025 season, the second quarter can’t possibly be worse than their first, right? Philadelphia enters Friday night’s game against Orlando at 5-15 and down Joel Embiid yet again as the former MVP was ruled out on Thursday.
At this point, the organization seems to have lost all trust from fans when it comes to whatever the plan is for Embiid’s knee this season. But this week’s news surrounding Paul George should have raised the eyebrows of fans as well.
George played a season-high 37 minutes in Philly’s 110-104 victory against Charlotte on Tuesday night.
