The 76ers have added two well-respected executives and promoted another one in their front office.
The team announced the hiring of former Washington Wizards vice president Marc Eversley as its vice president of player personnel on Thursday. He will run the scouting department and have a key role in shaping the Sixers roster. It is believed that Eversley will serve as second in command behind team president of basketball operations Bryan Colangelo.
The Sixers also announced the hiring of Ned Cohen as the associate vice president and chief of staff. Meanwhile, Brandon Williams was promoted to the vice president of basketball administrations.
