The Philadelphia 76ers have lost their first game of the 2019-20 season, falling to the Phoenix Suns 114-109. The Sixers were in the game just about the whole way, but they were unable to make key defensive stops when it counted most and had quite a few blunders on the offensive end to close the game.
The Sixers had zero answer for Devin Booker down the stretch. Booker went off for 40 points and was incredibly efficient, going 15 for 19 from the field (3 for 4 3PT) and 7 for 7 from the line.
