Sixers legend Julius Erving hilariously retires (again) on comedy series | VIDEO

Julius Erving retired from playing basketball more than 30 years ago.

On "The 5th Quarter," Erving only recently decided to stop playing.

Well, it's not exactly Erving -- the NBA Hall-of-Famer and Sixers legend best known as "Dr. J" plays a character named Moses Archibald, a 70-year NBA player who finally decides to announce his retirement after 50 years in the league and proceeds to go on a Kobe Bryant-esque farewell tour.

The episode, streamed on Verizon Media's go90, is filmed in a documentary (or mockumentary) style format with confessionals from real-life NBA players and sports personalities, as well as actors.
