Sixers' Joel Embiid leaves game against Knicks with apparent head injury

Joel Embiid left Wednesday night’s game against the New York Knicks and Wells Fargo Center with 11 minute, 40 seconds left in the half due to what appeared to be a head injury.

The 76ers center hit his head into teammate Markelle Fultz as the two collided on a play. They both fell to court. Fultz popped right up. Embiid sat up before laying back down. He was helped up after a couple of minutes and taken to the locker room.

Embiid had five points on 2-for-6 shooting and three rebounds in eight minutes before the injury.
