The will again face off with the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday night, this time on home turf and with the league’s reigning MVP back in the lineup.
The Sixers and Bulls head to South Philadelphia for the second leg of a home-and-home. The Bulls defeated the Sixers 105-92 on Saturday evening, with Nick Nurse’s squad looking worn down on the latter end of a road back-to-back. They still were without leader Joel Embiid, who missed his fourth consecutive game after spraining his right ankle on Dec. 22.
But circumstances look different today. Not only did the team get a few days off, but, for the first time in over a week, Embiid’s name does not appear on the team’s injury report, indicating he will make his return to action on Tuesday night.
