Sixers' Gerald Henderson to miss next two games

76ers swingman Gerald Henderson will be sidelined the next two games because of soreness in his left hip. He will be reevaluated on Sunday in case he can play Monday against the Milwaukee Bucks at the Wells Fargo Center.

Henderson is averaging 9.9 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 24.1 minutes this season. He sat out of the second half of Wednesday’s loss to the Miami Heat at AmericanAirlines Arena because of the soreness, which has hampered him all season.

“He’s pretty banged up, and he’s been banged up all year,” T.J. McConnell said. “You just have to have another guy step up in his place and hold the fort down until he gets back.
