The league announced last week that it was investigating the Philadelphia 76ers regarding the player participation of Joel Embiid. Apparently, the NBA is now ready to reveal the who, where, and how at the investigation’s conclusion. ESPN’s Shams Charania (still weird to type) has reported the team will be fined $100,000 for public statements regarding Embiid’s health status.

Shams goes on to clarify that the team did not, in fact, violate the player participation policy, and the fine is purely for the public statements made.
