OKLAHOMA CITY – The 76ers remained the only winless team in the NBA late Friday night. And as a result, they achieved another dismal, yet tank-friendly milestone.
Friday's expected 102-85 setback to the Oklahoma City Thunder makes them the only team in league history to start 0-9 in back-to-back seasons. The Sixers opened last season with 17 straight losses.
It's a distinction that Sixers are trying not to pay attention to.
"I don't even care," coach Brett Brown said of the record. "Somebody told me the other day about they're taking last year's [season-ending] losses and adding it to [this season's streak].
