After the Sixers moved reserve point guard Kendall Marshall to the Utah Jazz in exchange for two future second round picks, cash, and center Tibor Pleiss, The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported Philadelphia was still evaluating whether or not to keep the German big man.
Seeing as how the have an abundant amount of front court players with no real resolution in sight, adding Pleiss to the roster didn’t make a ton of sense. The team has quickly realized that as well.
Prominent international basketball reporter David Pick reported Tuesday morning that Pleiss’s agent has informed teams that the Sixers plan on waiving the 26-year-old.
