Maybe the NBA should snub Ben Simmons more often.
Last week, Simmons was overlooked for a spot as an NBA All-Star reserve. The following night, he put together one of the most unique rookie performances in league history in the Sixers' win over the Bulls.
Tuesday, in need of an injury replacement for Wizards point guard John Wall, NBA commissioner Adam Silver picked Pistons center Andre Drummond as an injury replacement, bypassing Simmons for the second time.
Wednesday night, Simmons took it out on the Nets, scoring 18 first-half points. This time, though, it wasn't enough, Simmons cooled off in the second half and the Sixers lost 116-108.
