With the Indiana Pacers in the midst of a slump, Saturday night presented the perfect time for the 76ers to end their latest skid.
It appeared they were on their way to doing that. In the end, however, that turned out to be nothing more than a tease to the 19,213 fans in attendance at the Wells Fargo Center.
The Pacers prevailed, 115-102. The loss dropped the Sixers to 9-68. They have lost 12 straight and 25 of 26 games.
With the game on the line, the home squad had a tough time holding onto the ball.
